A
Creative Sanctuary
Welcome to RedRoom Studios, New Zealand’s premiere recording studio getaway, nestled in the hills of Puhoi, just 35 minutes’ drive from Auckland CBD.
Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, we provide a creative sanctuary for our artists and clients to fully immerse themselves in their creative projects without distraction. With Steve Albini's 32 channel Neotek Elite console as the beating heart of our control room, along with world-class analogue outboard gear and a dedicated team of highly talented engineers and producers, RedRoom Studios is your new creative outlet.
Numerous multi-award winning and number 1 albums have been recorded here, from artists like Troy Kingi, Kora and many more. From demos to full commercial productions, we provide top-shelf recording, mixing, mastering and post-production services in a peaceful, inspiring and soul-enriching environment.
WHY Record with Us?
Recording great music is about the closest thing to capturing lightning in a bottle.
Essential is:
The environment, people, skill but mostly the vibe. A place that you can completely focus on the creative, loosing yourself into sound. A relaxing bush location only minutes from the beach, in an old chapel, loaded with great vintage analog equipment. A great selection of instruments allowing you to experiment and be playful.
Don't take our word for it though, we like to let the music recorded at RedRoom do the talking!
